​1) How young can a child start with the PEL program?

A child can start as young as 3 years old. PEL is an individualized program suitable for children of most ages and abilities.

2) My child is falling behind in school, how can PEL program help?

PEL is a systematic, individualized program that caters to students of all grade levels, academic skills, and abilities. PEL can help your child by rebuilding a stronger foundation and at the same time offering immediate, homework help and intensive private tutoring.

3) Can PEL help with school work?

Yes, we offer after-school homework help at the center.

4) My child is falling behind in school, can PEL provide private tutoring?

Yes, we offer private tutoring at the center.

5) My child is doing well in school and needs more challenges. How can PEL program help?

PEL program is customized to the need of your child and therefore not restricted by age or grade. The goal of the PEL program is to help your child reach his/her full potential and complete the high school curriculum as soon as possible.

6) My child has a very busy schedule, how much time commitment is needed?

The amount of work is individualized and flexible. Typically, it will take 15 to 25 minutes per day to complete the assignment at home. Additionally, students visit the center twice a week for about 30 to 45 minutes for each subject enrolled.

7) What is my child's class routine?

A typical day at the PEL Learning Center looks like this:

Step 5: Guidance and help are always    available at the center

8) Will the PEL program conflict with school work?

No, PEL supplements the school curriculum. It does not replace classroom experience. The concepts introduced and strengthened in PEL will help students gain proficiency in their school work.

9) How does the PEL program prepare for standardized testing?

PEL's assignments are timed, your child will become accustomed to working under test-taking conditions, and developing analytical and time management skills; which will help prepare them for standardized testing.

​10) How much does tuition cost?

  • Assessment testing is always free.
  • Monthly tuitions for the Math and English programs are $140 and up per month per subject.
  • After School Homework Help is $150 and up per month.
  • Private tutoring is $40 and up per hour.
  • Registration is a one-time $50 to $100 per student.
